The information provided in the Election Finances section on our main website is intended to serve as an easy reference for chief financial officers and constituency association officials involved in the financing of political activities in Ontario.

In this section you can find out how to register a constituency association and the rules regarding election financing, political contributions, advertising, and fundraising activities. Like candidates and parties, constituency associations must register with the Chief Electoral Officer and file audited annual and campaign specific financial statements.
